2023 MSPE Golf Outing

On September 18th, AR Engineering participated in the annual SW Branch of the Michigan Society of Professional Engineers (MSPE) Golf Outing. It was a great day for golf at Angel’s Crossing Golf Club in Vicksburg., Michigan. Andy Nesbitt from Nuway Construction and Derek Wissner from Callander Commercial joined Andrew Rossell and Jason Raleigh from AR Engineering. The team was on their A game, as each member holed a putt over 50 feet. Each year, the outing helps raise money to fund scholarships for the SW Branch of the MSPE.

Canteen North America Groundbreaking

AR Engineering was happy to attend Canteen North America’s groundbreaking ceremony in July for their new facility in Comstock Township, Michigan. The vending and dining service company will call this new 41,000 SFT facility home once construction is complete. AR Engineering is proud to have provided multiple services for the successful completion of this project, including topographic/boundary surveying, civil site design, and construction staking. We are excited to be part of a great team, and look forward to future projects with Nuway Construction and Callander Commercial!

AR Engineering Salsa Garden

The team at AR Engineering planted an office garden this spring, with the hopes of being able to close the season with a salsa party. It was a VERY productive garden with bumper crops of tomatoes and jalapeno peppers, many green peppers, a few cucumbers, and a handful of habanero peppers. We didn’t get the timing quite right to make salsa, but it was a fun activity, and we very much enjoyed the vegetable harvest! We tried to produce some strawberries but had an issue that even beer couldn’t resolve. Hopefully this will be an annual tradition!
